Well, we made it through the holiday season with just a couple bumps in the road. We spent Christmas Eve at my mom's for brunch, and at B's parent's for supper. It was a busy day, but so much fun! M1 LOVED playing with 'the boys' (my brothers) in the snow, and would have stayed outside until her nose froze off. She LOVES the snow!

HOLD ON!
Thanks to Uncle L for the new sled! M1 received her first - of many, I'm sure - Barbie too. I was a little nervous about it, and advised my mom to find the one that was wearing the most amount of clothing. :) I think the attire has changed JUST a little since I had Barbies. I was also nervous that we would have to have an anatomy talk since Barbie has a few more 'features' than Strawberry Shortcake and the dolls in the dollhouse. But - so far, so good! Phew!!
Our Christmas morning started out interesting, to say the least. We noticed M2's eyes were a little red when she woke up from her afternoon nap on Christmas Eve, and since pink eye had been at daycare, we knew right away what the deal was. So...we started some drops that evening that I had at home from when I had pink eye a couple years ago. A couple things you must know about putting eye drops in a baby's eye - it's IMPOSSIBLE! The first time I kind of tricked her, but after that is was a losing situation. Poor thing!
By Christmas morning, I was ready for a different form of medicine to give her because the eye drops were driving me crazy! We quick opened presents on Christmas morning and then I took her to the ER. The good news is that we got right in! Ha! The bad news is that the doctor gave us eye drops. Grrr! We also found out that she had another ear infection - #3 to be exact. She just can't win. We have a referral in to have an ENT doctor look at her ears next week to see if she's eligible to get tubes in her ears.
So...other than that...(that's enough) we had a good break. We spent the Sunday after Christmas at my dad's, and have spent the week organizing the house to find room for all the girls' new goodies. I think M1 plays with M2's new things more than her own some times. Silly girl!
Our girls.
Even with her pink eyes...she's still pretty sweet. :)
SO excited about new crayons! Who doesn't love new crayons!?
M1 with her Bitty Baby and matching jammies. She's so proud. Thanks, Kiki!
It's back to work today! I'm missing the girls, but enjoying getting 'back to normal' I guess. I hope the next time I post, I will have good news about M2's ears. We are becoming regulars at the clinic, and it's so frustrating! Not to mention that she's probably tired of feeling icky. We have high hopes that 2010 will be easier than 2009! My New Year's resolution is to post more often...so you better READ it more often too! :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM OUR SILLY GIRLS!
